I can't rotate the photo somehow.
But I have spent quite a long time to upload it so it would be a waste if I remove it:S
okay, all the other gifts are in my stomach:P

Today's my JC Graduation Day.
I actually thought that it'll probably turn out to not feel like one, considering the fact that A Levels is coming in another 24 days time and Nanyang has always not been good in organising celebrations..
But I guessed it sort of did.

We started everything off with the graduation videos that every class did.
I was totally not involved in our class graduation video making so saw it for the first time today.
And it was awesome;P
I think ours was one of the coolest, although it didn't managed to win any award in the end.
At least it's something that 1104 can be proud of finally, on the last official day of school (our records are seriously horrible).

Then came the well-wishes videos that every subject department have done for us.
Some were really funny and some were touching.
At least I can really see their effort in creating  their respective videos (something that I'm quite surprised about).
Even though the video that the Biology department did was supposed to be funny, a lot of us tear while watching it.

Then we have a mini class party  with a Canadian Pizza treat from the CT(:
The chicken wings were really delicious:P
Followed by an autograph session as we wrote our well wishes on one another's class photo cover(:
I didn't buy the class photos and I wasn't intending to ask people to write their well wishes for me at first.
But in the end, I actually thought that that piece of card will probably be memorable 10 years down the road when I look at it once again.
And I guessed it'll be interesting to know what kind of impression that I had left in people's minds.
I think I sort of got it:)

I'm glad that I'm quite a cheerful, funny, and crazy person in others' eye in JC, which is an obvious difference from secondary school.
But I have understand that sometimes my overriding sense of sarcasm had gotten too far.
Some people may get hurt by it.
Some show it, but some chose not to.
Thinking back, if I was the "victim" to talk about, I might also mind it as well.
Okay, it's my fault.
Trying to change this bad habit of mine, but sometimes it's difficult, especially to the closer friends of mine.
So conclusion: my close friends have to listen and quickly forget my sarcasm most of the time?
Hahaha, I think I sound demanding here.
But I swear, I never mean what I have said.

I'm so glad that I have entered Nanyang and be a member of this big family.
It has no doubt been a terrifying 2 years, with unlimited ups and downs.
But I mean, which JC student don't go through this?
If I were to choose another JC to go into and suffer this crap again, I'll definitely choose Nanyang.
It's unique in its way that I think other outsiders can never comprehend.
Many people question me for my choice of entering this school.
Reason being that there're so many JCs around the same L1R5 range which are far more well-known than Nanyang.
Even for myself, Nanyang has never been an option for me when I'm choosing my schools during the post Olevels period until I have seen it for myself.
I don't know whether you believe it or not, I was pretty convinced that I should enter this school just within the 5 minutes I have stepped into it for the first time.
That particular feeling is just so comfortable and real.
Indescribable.
And these 2 years have proved that I had made the wisest decision(:
I mean,
Which school will ever give out Essence of Chicken to their students?
Which school will have a special Ice-Cream Day when Magnum Ice Cream are treated to their students? (Considering the forever-so-limited government funds that government-funded schools receive)
Which school will have teachers purchasing Vitamin C tablets for their students out of their own pockets on a regualr basis (And meticulously realised that some of them can't swallow the large pill so subsequently bought the chewable ones)?
Which school will have a Biology Department that gives out free rulers with photo stickers of the teachers' faces pasted on every single one of them? (Out of their own pockets again)
Which school will have a Biology Cohort that is so bonded and fun with absolutely zero-distanced interactions between the teachers and the students?
Which school will have a Principal who always go moves around the canteen during his limited lunch time, standing and chatting(while eating) with his students and teachers with a plate of rice on his hands?
Which school will have a Principal who goes around picking up any little piece of rubbish he sees on his way, and request to have any little faults he sees in the facilities rectified as soon as possible as he spots it?
Which school will have a Principal who is willing to stay back late at night to give out free apples to students staying back for the night study programme and ask feedbacks about the lighting and environment from every single group of students he see?
Which school will have a Principal whose priority is always about the students' academics and comfort? (Apart from other goals that some other schools may choose to prioritise in e.g. level of recognition of the school in public's eye)?

I have dedicated 4 points to our Principal.
I think that he is one of the main reasons to why NYJCians love Nanyang..
I can safely say that at least 90% of NYJCians would agree with me for this point that I have raised.

There are so many little things about Nanyang that have touched each and every of our hearts bit by bit. (Which I couldn't possibly list all here.)
This is what makes it the most ideal school for all of us(:

I have never particularly like a school before.
But now, I can truthfully say that,
" I really love Nanyang."
